I thk that was the dance we did durg the entire wrg procs. Our nightmare would be makg the bad versn of this. For better or worse, I've spent a lot of time on social media, where a lot of the type of cricism you're talkg about tends to get exceptnally amplified. One of the thgs I explaed to Nick and Judd early on is that the LGBTQ+ muny is plited. We're not uned by one race or ethnicy or natnaly, or even one genr inty or sexual orientatn.</p><p data-no-id="42" class="css-18vfmjb et3p2gv0">But ultimately 's one movie. A rom-, by s nature, 90 percent of the movie is gog to foc on the central uple. It n't be about every sgle person the LGBTQ+ muny. That would be a really bad movie. We've gotten so few movi like this, and we get so few movi like this, that on the rare ocsns we do, there is this sane amount of prsure to speak to every rner of the muny equal dos, which is lerally impossible to do an hour-and-forty-five-mute rom-. I thought that was so funny, absurd, sad, all of , bee I knew he meant on some level, even though he was playg off as a joke. What we got was often very stereotypil and two-dimensnal. They're even naked on the shoppg bags, playg lacrosse and football. The were the imag we got as we were g of age as gay men. That do somethg to you. I thk do somethg to straight guys, too.
