Q&A: SéAD O’CONNOR ON HOW GAYS CHANGED HER LIFE & GETTG HER ‘D*CK HARD’
I grew up Ireland and there was no such thg as “gay” the ’70s.
I had never even heard of “gay” except for there was a female impersonator who had a big TV show the ’70s, a guy lled Danny La Rue. I ed to love his show, but I never knew there was any such thg as gay until I was 17. So I had actually never heard of any such thg as gay until I went to the Hippodrome, and put this way, I was really jealo that I was never gonna look that fuckg good.
I actually fd the whole gay muny an enormo spiratn to me bee, J, I’ve never taken the kd of sh gay people take.
