Gay, Lbian, Bisexual and Transgenr Communy Center of Baltimore and Central Maryland Rerds. This llectn documents the history of the Gay, Lbian, Bisexual and Transgenr Communy Center of Baltimore and Central Maryland (GLCCB) between 1979 and 2015. The bulk of the llectn is a set of "Gay Life" newspapers datg om 1979 to 2014.

Gay and Lbian Communy Center of Baltimore. The Gay Communy Center of Baltimore (GCCB) was found 1977. By 2000, the name was revised to the Gay, Lbian, Bisexual, Transgenr Communy Center of Baltimore (GLCCB).

In 2019, the name changed to s current form: The Pri Center of the years the Center provid outreach, tn, and servic to the muny, cludg a health clic, regular prtgs of the GCCB newsletter which eventually beme the Baltimore Gay Paper (BGP) and was later tled "Gay Life, " the annual Pri celebratn Baltimore Cy, and more. To prepare for the move om their longtime anizatnal home, GLCCB volunteers formed an archiv mtee and sought a muny partner to help safeguard their llectn of historilly important rerds, cludg a near-plete set of Baltimore’s Gay Life newspapers datg om 1979 to addn to the work of the GLCCB archiv mtee, the Center celebrated s 35th anniversary 2012 and participated a lol oral history project.
