One hundred and fifty stunts of a Serbian Universy (MAge = 22.13, SD = 2.28) filled a qutnnaire measurg soc-mographic rmatn and the stment H25 asssg homophobia. Two months later, they watched a movie pictg gay men a posive manner and pleted a qutnnaire ntag the homophobia sle and qutns related to intifitn wh the ma character, ter-group ntact and religsy. The rults showed that watchg the movie is related to a rctn of homophobia and that character intifitn and ter-group ntact are negatively rrelated wh homophobia, whereas religsy is posively rrelated wh . Rults also show that there is a negative rrelatn between religsy and the attu change duced by the movie, and that men exprs higher level of homophobia than women. The study ntribut to the knowledge of the mechanisms rcg homophobia through media.
