25th Anniversary Proclamatn btowed upon the New Hampshire Gay Men’s Chos om the Honorable Joyce Craig, Mayor of Manchter, New Hampshire. Manchter Mayor Joyce Craig honored NHGMC at s 25th Anniversary Kickoff Celebratn, readg a proclamatn and clarg New Hampshire Gay Men’s Chos Day the Cy of Manchter. NHGMC beme the first openly gay group to perform si Fenway Park for the Boston Red Sox.

The Manchter Performg Arts Associatn dog bs as the New Hampshire Gay Men’s Chos was tablished 1998. Our missn is to prent qualy entertament, provi an opportuny for wholome social teractn for our members, and prent a posive image of the gay muny New Hampshire.<br/><br/>The Chos produc two ncert seri each year, a wter ncert seri early December and a sprg ncert seri early May. Throughout the year, we also accept addnal requts to perform om muny anizatns. The Chos also performs many Outreach performanc at assisted livg centers, terfah servic, sportg events, Pri events, and civic and ernment events.<br/><br/>Membership is open to all men, 18 years of age or olr, who are gay or straight (gay-iendly) or who are male-intifyg and who enjoy the satisfactn of sgg harmony a men’s vol group. And for the first time s history, June, 2017, NHGMC sang the Natnal Anthem for the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park – the first gay men’s chos to sg at Fenway!
GAY MEN'S CHOS
In 2004, the Chos ma history when traveled to Walt Disney World Florida to perform there as the first openly gay choral group. Performg at Walt Disney World on June 4, 2004 – NHGMC beme the first openly gay group to perform si a Disney park, at EPCOT. Snelson, and the late David Swart — followg a Boston Gay Men’s Chos (BGMC) holiday ncert that they attend Boston.
Th on June 8, 1998, the Manchter Performg Arts Associatn (MPAA), dog bs as the New Hampshire Gay Men’s Chos, was officially born!

In ‘98, the founrs also reached out to Jim Bretz, a high-profile lear the New Hampshire gay muny. In addn to his succsful reer health and human servic, Bretz had found and anized a plethora of New Hampshire groups, cludg the Motr’s Brotherhood Club, the New Hampshire Polil Coaln of Lbians and Gays, the Gay Coupl Support Group, Digny New Hampshire, the Young People Support Group, Out and Proud Men’s Group, and New Hampshire Naturally. Hence he got MPAA to sponsor the Diversy awards, and I do believe brought the chos a lot of visibily the gay muny.
Back then, some of envisned MPAA beg a fol pot the gay muny, brgg all the different factns and groups together.
