Inially the game was not gog to have gay upl or gay romantic teractns whatsoever! By sheer cince, the game lnched wh gay teractns as a possibily.

Thanks to u/atedwater for this, the actual story is pretty much what I said above, but wh the add twist of an earlier versn of the game at E3 beg ma wh the outdated sign document, accintally showg off a gay kiss, and changg thgs forever! Though homosexualy was an accint, there was a mercial for the game featurg a man a club flirtg wh a woman, before sudnly beg drawn to a man!

SIMS 4 MA MY GAY SIMS STRAIGHT

Gay Sims were fally allowed to get married! Their preference is termed by teractns (so if the player teracts as a male wh a male NPC, that male NPC gradually "be gay" and will not outright reject the sim unls they have prevly "bee straight") and n change over time, based entirely on player directn. Sims are not tonomoly gay or straight wh other sims until the player tablish their sexualy by hand.

In The Sims 3, all is well wh the world, as gay sims n fally get married. The Sims 3 featur the first ever non-gay prema Sim s origal town Sunset Valley- Gobias Koffi (y, based on Tobias om Arrted Development) whose profile says he prefers the pany of male iends.

A later downloadable town om the Sims 3 Store featur an explic gay uple wh a child. Sims 4: They exist, and so do a large gamut of people between the reigng champn inti of "straight and gay". I am well aware that some of the Sims are gay, like Summer Holiday, who is very, very gay.

Johnny is not allowed to be gay my game, not now, not ever. In Sims 3, if you ma gay Sims, they pretty much always stayed gay - even if you stopped playg them for a while. In Sims 4, I've noticed that if I don't play my gay hoeholds for awhile, when I return, they've ually started relatnships wh the oppose sex.

One Sim, particular, I started him a gay relatnship.

Another Sim gay I equently play wh often flirts wh women. I ma him gay.

Not only do the game appear to be tolerant of gay Sims, 's forcg 's own agenda on them. Not if my gay Sims don't stay gay.

I created this Sim, I wanted him gay. In Sims 3, I theorized that once you, the player, flipped a swch and ma gay Sims, the game would acmodate this and you'd see gay towni turng up. Gay relatnships don't appear to propagate on their own.

The Sims has a large gay followg and everyone needs to know about this whether you're gay, an ally or everythg between.
