I've never seen a film like this before, where beg a gay man was so well.
I thk this film will appeal to a very wi dience and may also show people that gay men e all shap and siz and n't be easily fted to standard stereotyp. There’s a new gay movie g to cemas, and this one is a powerful and rnchy drama between two gby players. What at first seems to be a film about two gay men who embark on a relatnship, sps out to a much bigger story about gay men tryg to navigate life and love and iendship.
I thk there are a lot of ‘g out’ and ‘homophobia’ films and I was terted gettg beyond that. Israel Fol posted anti-gay msag on social media. So many lol clubs happen to have a large proportn of gay players which is a ttament to the sport. I’d say to other sports, if you want to miss out on all that talent to hold homophobic ias, you need to set your egos asi.

I was tryg to work out what was about gay gby that was so special and a benef for all the queer people – mental health benefs om sport and beg able to form a relatnship away om dgs and alhol as well as reclaimg that place on the sportg pch where we’re told we don’t belong. So often, when gay people are seen on screen, our stori are tragic – ath, disease, margalisatn, abe. Simon is a player who me out as gay his early 30s and Steelers talks ankly about his prsn after sperately supprsg his sexualy, clgg on to hope that wouldn’t matter.
He was more than a gay man, and uld clg onto the rt of him bee surely that would be enough and life, at the very least, would be bearable.
