On the outskirts of the quiet Queensland town of Gayndah, about four hours north-wt of Brisbane, stands a stone monument embossed wh the name Anna Kathera Krieger.

"The traveller: William Reichnacker had stopped at Brovia Statn for about a day and a half sometime the month before Krieger had left for Gayndah.

A bootmaker Gayndah is also reported to have told the urt he met wh Mr Reichnacker and he spoke "disparaggly" of Krieger. The town of Gayndah is about four hours north-wt of Brisbane, Queensland's North Burt populatn of about 2, 000 people has barely fluctuated the past few s and is one of those plac where everyone knows area around the town is a te experience of ral Atralia and is only a uple of hours om regnal ci like Bundaberg and Hervey Bay. Gayndah is quiet and unshed, but there is a lot more to this old town than meets the eye.
