Darlghurst is one of Sydney’s ma gay neighborhoods and, back 2016, almost one five upl were men same-sex relatnships. It’s home to Oxford Street, the center of Sydney’s gay scene wh clubs, bars and f n by and for Sydney’s LGBTQIA+ muny.

It also clus part of Kgs Cross, a non-official suburb that was historilly the center of Sydney’s nightlife and home to one of Sydney’s earlit gay bars, the Bottom’s Up Bar. It’s not a gay bar per se but given s lotn, that’s often the way s clientele skews.

If you’re lookg for a nu beach, the small and seclud Obelisk Beach is highly remend by gay lols and tourists. Cosmopolan Sydney has long been one of the world’s favore vatn statns, and s vibrant gay culture mak an LGBT hotspot too.

It’s one of Atralia’s most gay-iendly ci, along wh Melbourne and Canberra.

So, was no surprise that many of the gay hotels Sydney we found, as well as the gay nightlife, were here.

If that wasn’t enough, the cy also has gay-favore nudist beach and the amazg annual Sydney Gay and Lbian Mardi Gras Para. But what we found tertg was that Sydney’s gay culture was sewn to the fabric of the cy. We also vised the northern part of Bondi Beach, another popular gay hangout.
