As more and more gays e to EDC every year, I’ve noticed a subtle shift the vibe when I’m around the giant gay meta-group where the rabow totems ngregate — and got me thkg about what exactly ravers mean by a crowd beg “good vib. I’ve brought many gay first-timers to the ftival, and wh the first few hours of arrivg at mp, and after the first nversatn the water le, or outf pliment om a stranger, they immediately sense that somethg about the attu at EDC is different and special.

A key difference is that many social gtur that would nstute flirtg at a gay event don’t mean the same thg at EDC. Obvs don’t fake if you’re not a good mood, but unlike other gay spac, a se don’t always mean “I’m tryg to get your pants. Aga, gay ntexts this would be seen as flirtg, but at EDC chattg up strangers is totally through the crowd as polely as possible.
It’s also fun to jt be a spectator, so whatever you do, enjoy the of my most memorable EDC experienc is someone g up to me (wh my giant rabow flag totem) 2015 to tell me they ed to hate gays, but they grew up and learned better.
