It didn't seem to make a big al of the gay characters; their relatnships were no different than if they book had been about purely straight characters and I really liked that.
Seeg his character ma the book seem so real, knowg there are money gbbg gay men out there. The gay scene liftyle that is scribed, wh s massive dg e, overwhelmg foc on physil appearanc, and a certa amount of sual sex, was very different om a straight romance, but I was fe wh that. The thor tells too much too soon and miss almost every opportuny to make a drama out of a crisis (not livg up to the gay stereotype there!
THE GAY DIVORCEE (38 RULTS)
In the se of Hazel's mother, who's very homophobic, this bothered me, as 's not somethg I enjoy readg about..
There's an tertg tensn and ntrast between London's Soho and Wal, some wonrfully lourful scriptns of the gay scene London, brilliant, cuttg humour and some lovely fast-movg wrg. And vers a range of relatnships, mother/dghter, mother/son, father/dghter, bt iends, gay partners and all kds of sual acquatanc.
