Right so an terview wh David Thewlis about PoA he says he always thought of the character (Lup) as gay. He also says Alfonso Cuaron who directed the film scribed the character as like a ‘gay junkie’. Obvly he uld jt be bi but nsirg what JK Rowlgs like uld she have wrten this simply to make sure Rem wasn't perceived as gay?
Consirg so many people feel the Tonks lup story le is forced and Lup is largely accepted as a very queer d character do not seem likely Rowlg wrote solely to prove Rem wasn't gay? Moviefone is reportg that David Thewlis claimed he played Lup as gay the Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban movie acrdance wh directn om the film’s director, Alfonso Cuarón. Thewlis revealed that director Alfonso Cuarón gave him a b of advice which was to play the character as a ‘gay junkie.
