From my experience seems there are a lot of gay and lbian people and fai movg to Swarthmore - which is not the Ma Le, but a verdant upsle affluent area nohels. BH is one of the few plac on the Eastern Ma Le where I've heard openly homophobic/racist/anti-Semic remarks (and on multiple ocsns, at that).

Gay life and nightlife are centered this area due to a large ncentratn of gay- and lbian-iendly bs, rtrants and bars.
