A rezong requt was recently filed for 350 South Gay Street, which is currently a leral hole formg a parkg lot between the Century Buildg (Chivo Taqueria) and Gallery Lofts (Mast General Store). Entrance will be via Gay Street, adjacent to Mast General and the ex will be out the rear of the stcture to State Street. The larger portn of the Gay Street facg floor would be dited to mercial space adjacent to the Century buildg.

"As Gay Street grew and the railroad got by, acmodatg dozens of tras every day, the cy built bridg over the rail yards. "By 1900, the downward slope of Gay Street and the upward slope of a bridge created a road that seemed more like a roller aster — "a pretty absurd thg to fd a by part of town, " Neely said.
