No, this wasn’t your typil mic ftival, nor was a Gay Pri ftival — was Milkshake Ftival Amsterdam. Milkshake Ftival tak place the week before Amsterdam’s annual Gay Pri and is labeled as a ftival “for all who love” (rais hand).

Gay Pri ftivals the Wt were once opportuni to be visible and publicly mand equal rights.
As more and more of those rights have materialized (pecially the past few years), the polil aspect of many Gay Pris has dimished. That’s not to say ’s totally gone (read on), but the days, a lot of our Gay Pri celebratns center around headle bands, paras, parti, and plenty of sk.
Gay Pri is a lot of fun — but the fun don’t have to stop there. Each May, the Internatnal Dubl Gay Theatre Ftival celebrat LGBT artists, wrers, and performers the hometown of celebrated gay wrer Osr Wil.
