This study examed factors related to the qualy of life (QOL) of gay and bisexual men durg emergg adulthood Taiwan. The factors clud tradnal harassment (e.g., verbal ridicule, relatnal excln, physil aggrsn, and theft of belonggs), cyber harassment, sex- and genr-related factors (e.g., sexual orientatn, age at ial intifitn of sexual orientatn, self-reported level of genr nonnformy, and perceived social acceptance toward homosexualy and bisexualy), and mographic characteristics. In total, 305 Taiwane gay and bisexual men, aged 20–25 years, were reced. Their QOL, tradnal harassment, and cyber harassment data were llected g the World Health Organizatn Qutnnaire on Qualy of Life: Short Form, School Bullyg Experience Qutnnaire, and Cyberbullyg Experienc Qutnnaire, rpectively. In total, 60.3%, 34.4%, 28.2%, and 29.5% of the participants reported experiencg tradnal harassment, cyber harassment, tradnal harassment across multiple ntexts, and harassment multiple forms, rpectively. Both tradnal and cyber harassment were signifintly associated wh lower QOL. Individuals who experienced tradnal harassment across multiple ntexts and harassment multiple forms had lower QOL nearly all domas than did dividuals who had experienced tradnal harassment a sgle ntext and harassment of a sgle form. However, the QOL did not signifintly differ between dividuals who had experienced tradnal harassment a sgle ntext and nonvictims nor between dividuals who had experienced harassment of a sgle form and nonvictims. Lower tn level, olr age at ial intifitn of sexual orientatn, higher perceptn of genr nonnformy, and lower perceived social acceptance toward homosexualy and bisexualy were signifintly associated wh lower QOL. Clil and public health profsnals should nsir the factors when velopg programs to enhance the QOL of gay and bisexual men.
