Dean and Castiel om "Supernatural" served romance rather than the "bury your gays" trope. "But Dean never really gets a chance to rpond and is never openly stated that he and Castiel were a scene also leans very heavily to the "bury your gays" trope, where, TV seri or movi, LGBTQ+ characters are killed off more equently than straight was not the only LGBTQ+ reprentatn the seri, but Dtiel fans fely served better than a last-mute nfsn before removg any chance of Castiel and Dean beg an open, romantic uple.
