Barbara Gay Floyd was born Sept. Gay was a rint of Van for four years, formerly livg Temecula, California and was a member of First Baptist Church of Edom. Gay worked admistratn for public school districts cludg Perris and Yuipa, California.

Later life, Gay affectnately beme known to most as “Momma Gay, ” th blsg her wh many children throughout the world. Whether she knew you or not, Gay would greet you wh her bright se and sparkle her eye. Loved by many, we will cherish the moments and memori of Momma Gay.
Gay passed away at the age of 85 on June 6, 2023. Although divorced, Gay remaed close to her hband of twenty-one years, Bennie Dean Floyd who passed October 23, 2002. Gay is survived by her dghter and son--law, Stephanie & David Burrows; brother and sister--law, Roy Dean & Janice Bleer; and grandchildren, Hailey Michele Floyd-Burrows, Delaney Kathryn Burrows and Blake William Burrows.

The most overtly gay aspect of Ford’s princy was that an openly gay man, Oliver “Bill” Sipple, foiled an assassatn attempt and possibly saved Ford’s life.
