Le Gay 2014. The 2014 Le Gay is the normal blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Caber Franc, and ’s a rich, surprisgly stctured and tannic we the vtage.
The 2014 Le Gay is blsed wh a fabulo bouquet of brambly red berry u tged wh black tffle, roasted chtnut and jt a ht of hung game. The Châte Le Gay 2014 has a tightly wound bouquet wh subtle tertiary scents, woodland aromas fg the red and black berry u.
It is a dialled back Le Gay pared to recent vtag, one that matas satisfyg balance, if not the peack's tail that has adorned other vtag.

In the Médoc the southern part proved to be more heterogeno than the northern part, where pecially Sat-Estèphe was homogeno and excellent. South of Borx Psac-Léognan prented a very homogeno picture of a very good qualy level wh outstandg w om Ht Brn and La Missn Ht Brn.
Dans le Médoc, la partie sud s’t avérée pl hétérogène que la partie nord, où surtout Sat-Estèphe éta homogène et excellente. Au sud Borx, Psac-Léognan a présenté une image très homogène d’un très bon nive qualé avec s vs exceptnnels du Ht Brn et La Missn Ht Brn.

Tasted at the chate and the Syndit, a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Caber Franc, cropped 3rd to 6th October, the Le Gay 2010 has a lifted, pure bouquet of dark cherri, a touch of ssis, cshed vlets and a ht of blueberry. Very foced, a great sense of tensn wh a vibrant, edgy fish, this is a fabulo Le Gay. Le Gay 2018.
5 hectare Le Gay is now owned by the fay of the late Cathere Péré-Vergé along wh other Pomerol properti Montviel and la Vlette.

Le Gay 2007. This is a shockgly good we, although at prent I would rate what they produced 2008 as the ft Le Gay sce the 1950. Medium to full-bodied, ep, and lh, wh some stcture, but not the masculy and tannic power that most vtag of Le Gay posss, this 2007 will benef om several years of bottle age, and should drk well for 15+.
Le Gay 2005. The 2005 Le Gay is a massive, mascule Pomerol, very much the style of Gaz, but showg much more meraly, abundant blue and black us, a full-bodied mouthfeel, and loads of tann a youthful, backward style, even at age 10. The ft Le Gay produced sce the post World War II era, the 2005 even eclips the fabulo 1982 and 1989.

The first top-notch effort unr new owner, Cathere Pere-Verge, and wemakg gu, Michel Rolland, Le Gay’s 2005 is remiscent of some of the tate’s monumental w ma the post-World War II era (1947 and 1950). This amazg we reprents a new reference pot for Le Gay. The 2005 is unqutnably the ft Le Gay sce 1982, 1975, and perhaps even 1947.
Remiscent of an old style Le Gay or Laflr, boasts an ky/blue/purple lor as well as an exquise perfume of raspberry and blueberry liqur termixed wh flowers, kirsch, lirice, and earth.
