Intrigued by not only the qutns he received but the implitns behd them, Riel cid to look through the historil rerd to see what people really meant when they lled Montrose a gay neighborhood and how the landspe has changed. Map by Brian looked to old cy directori, travel guis and pi of the short-lived Albatross (the first regular publitn om and for Hoton's gay muny, published by a lol bar owner) to document the cy's gay bars and stutns, the spac that helped birth a host of polil groups over the years.
