The Rabow Project was tablished 1994 by a group of volunteers who were ncerned about the spread of HIV wh the gay male populatn of Northern volunteers wanted to provi rmatn and support to men who have sex wh men (MSM) about HIV and AIDS (Acquired Immunoficiency Syndrome). They rried out rearch wh the gay and bisexual muni orr to fd out what type of rmatn and support servic were a rult of this rearch, the project began to offer rmatn on HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmted fectns (STIs), distributg safer sex materials and leaflets at mercial gay venu and LGBTQIA+ events.
