The Garage of the Gay Para is “bricked” wh unpatterned ston on the outsi, and si probably has darked planked walls.
We also need to add the more generic advertisg signs that were prevalent at the Gay Paria and other plac. That is te, except for three signs the Gay Para.
We also really wanted to make sure we got the outsi Gay Para sign rrect.
CHIGO GAY BARS
We also were sure to add the age sign for the Jack Rabb Tradg post, that was at the Gay Paria. Fally, we hung the Gay Para sign om the ceilg outsi the room. Once we had the walls and signs up , was time to give the Gay Para that more “garagey” feelg.
As the Gay Para was more of a warehoe for Route 66 Collectors ems cludg street lights and old toys than a garage the days, we need get our spiratn om elsewhere. Fally, we add a high top table to the middle of the room to give people a place to ngregate and put their drks while enjoyg the Gay Para (this also had the add advantage of keepg people om htg their head on the dg room light).
