After nearly 10 more years and $70, 000 spent, the once-fotten works were restalled 1993, and work on the buildg was fally plete — but Gayle’s work prervatn was far om Gayle and Bill were buildg one of the world’s largt medil vice pani, Cook Medil, they also worked to prerve more than 60 buildgs Indiana and Illois, many of which are Bloomgton. In May, Gayle received Indiana Landmarks’ Williamson Prize for her work learship historic prervatn.

The Cook Group’s real tate arm, CFC Properti, owns many of the properti that Gayle and Bill rtored together.

CFC print Jim Murphy said he’s grown to love historic prervatn while workg wh the uple, and both he and Gayle’s assistant, Tera Hull, emphasized how much time she put to rearchg the buildgs they rtored.

“If Bill and Gayle had not cid to move to Bloomgton, Indiana, Bloomgton, Indiana, would not be what is today. When their son, Carl, was a child, they took him there to vis, and Gayle’s parents had vised shortly after they were married. “It’s been a part of southern Indiana history for ag, ” Gayle said of the Sprgs Valley area.
