This paper attempts to unrstand effectivens of “Y-gaya” based on general sign theory as a theoretil foundatn. As a rult, is found that que large part of “Y-gaya” uld be unrstood through general sign theory, whereas there are some factors (such as culture and human factors) still not to be proven or explaed. In the end, this paper discs future prospects for systematizatn of “Y-gaya”.
