Mel Gee Gaynor (born 29 May 1960, Balham, London, England) is a Brish dmmer. Gaynor was born to a Jamain father and an Ao-Brazilian mother. Gaynor joed Simple Mds 1982 as a ssn dmmer for the New Gold Dream album (as a remendatn by the rerd producer, Pete Walsh) then later joed the band permanently for the New Gold Dream tour, as a replacement for Mike Ogletree.
Gaynor began dmmg at age 11 and had his first profsnal engagement at age 14. Gaynor nsirs The Rollg Ston, Led Zeppel, Jimi Hendrix, Jam Brown, and the Mahavishnu Orchtra to be his ma fluenc.
