The Internatnal Homomonument on the Koekamp, a seven-meter tall steel sculpture, is signed to memorate all people who have been persecuted or opprsed bee of their sexual orientatn, both at the prent time and the past. The graffi pated at the monument se and on the bench clud drawgs and anti-gay slogans, cludg “fuck gays, ’ “fuck Pri, ” and “weg met pri, ” or “down wh Pri. “It is a ser form of vandalism that stems om homophobia, ” she said, acrdg to the NL Tim.
“The Homomonument is a symbol of acceptance and eedom. The vandalism of the Homomonument follows a strg of homophobic attacks on property across the Netherlands recent months.
