Gaynor says: “It’s sane… but I feel credibly lucky. I often thought about Gaynor but she was the last person I ever expected to see.

“When 80s songs me on the rad I’d thk about Gaynor and the good tim. Gaynor’s, Yana, is now 21, while Dean’s is a year younger. Gaynor began a new relatnship and moved to Cornwall, while Dean went to Benidorm to follow his dream.

But after Yana flew the nt, Gaynor and her partner spl up. Gaynor and Dean h off so well that she returned for a few days the followg Febary and aga last March.

“We were still jt good iends, ” says Gaynor. ” Gaynor found Dean had kept all the love letters they wrote 1987 – and as they re-read them, they realised they were meant to be together.

” Dean says: “I always thought about Gaynor and tried to fd her on Facebook about 10 years ago. When Spa’s lockdown ends next week, Dean will be back on stage performg his Shaky hs and Gaynor hop to relnch her own sgg reer.

Gaynor sists: “Whatever happens, we aren’t gog to be parted aga. Gaynor Williams, now 50, was jt 16 when she met 19-year-old Dean Ryan, now 53, at Memori bar Chter 1986. But more than 30 years later, Augt 2019, they fell love all over aga after a chance meetg a bar Benidorm - where Dean lived and Gaynor was on holiday - and they have now started a new life together Spa.
