Wrten by U of I profsors Rebec Sfield and Robert Caisley and Master of Fe Arts ndidat Court Fund and Kendra Phillips, the material is crafted om gay roo participants g a theatre-makg technique lled “verbatim” or “documentary” theatre which dialogue is attaed om terviews, archiv and news articl.

The terviews were llected by Sfield’s Gay Roo Oral History Project created 2016.

The project has partnered wh the Internatnal Gay Roo Associatn, the Whg Foundatn and U of I’s Center for Digal Inquiry and Learng, to llect, prerve and retell the val stori.
