Gay News. The lambda was selected as a symbol by the Gay Activists Alliance of New York 1970, followg the Stonewall Rts, and was clared the ternatnal symbol for gay and lbian rights by the Internatnal Gay Rights Congrs Edburgh, Stland, 1974.
