Rults There were 9,038 gbMSM clud, of whom 257 HIV seronverted over the study perd and 8,781 remaed negative HIV tters, ntributg 650.8 and 29,591.0 person-years to the analysis, rpectively. The overall rate of seronversn was 0.85 per 100 person-years (95% CI: 0.75–0.96). Incince rat were higher among patients reportg >5 partners the prev six months, nsistent ndom e, or havg a partner livg wh HIV and who had a prev or ncurrent diagnosis of rectal gonorrhea or rectal chlamydia. gbMSM prentg wh two STIs such as rectal gonorrhea and syphilis (3.59/100 person-years [95%CI: 2.33–5.22]) or rectal chlamydia and syphilis (3.01/100 person-years [95%CI: 2.00–4.29]) had the hight cince rat. Concln gbMSM wh precedg or ncurrent rectal STI diagnos or syphilis had higher rat of HIV seronversn. The data support the cln of specific STI diagnos as an ditn for PrEP.
