A PLACE WH OUR COMMUNY: THE INTERNATNAL GAY ROO ASSOCIATN
The Arizona Gay Roo Associatn started 1984 when Arizona beme the fifth state to host a gay roo. Arizona joed the Internatnal Gay Roo Associatn 1985 along wh California, Colorado and Texas. Arena Director and Chute Coordator Tim Smh joed the gay roo through the Texas Gay Roo Associatn, after a former partner, who was a nttant and roo announcer, troduced him 1987.
Smh peted not only the actual roo events, but the drag aspects and beme Miss Internatnal Gay Roo 1994 as “Miss Tsy. ” Smh believ the togetherns of the gay roo has provid a welg environment and has allowed him to fd the people who accept him. Smh’s ditn to the muny led him to beg ducted to the Internatnal Gay Roo Hall of Fame 2019.
