Sydney Mardi Gras first started through a gay rights para Sydney, on June 24, 1978.
Followg a day memoratn of the Stonewall Rts of 1969, LGBTQ lols gathered on Oxford Street at 10pm to march for equal regn, fight scrimatn agast LGBTQ people employment and hog, revoke anti-gay laws, and end police harassment.
