The Gaylords was a Sttish pop band origatg om the east end of Glasgow, origally formed 1961 as The Gaylords, and then later billed as Dean Ford and The Gaylords, rerdg four sgl for Columbia (EMI). The Gaylords (named after the notor post war Chigo Gaylords street gang) were origally formed by Pat Fairley and Billy Johnston Bailliton, a suburb east of Glasgow, 1961.
Thomas then adopted the stage moniker Dean Ford, and they then beme known as Dean Ford and The Gaylords.
