The Gaylords (named after the notor post war Chigo Gaylords street gang) were origally formed by Pat Fairley and Billy Johnston Bailliton, a suburb east of Glasgow, 1961. Thomas then adopted the stage moniker Dean Ford, and they then beme known as Dean Ford and The Gaylords.
