This snap basele giv him a great chance to produce, and now wh a posive matchup agast Chigo, he is a high-end DL3 play. The Bears are allowg a 30% prsure rate and a 14% sack nversn rate. Now, an jury to Dive Deablo is givg him another chance at IDP (and NFL) relevance. Last week, Martez played 91% of the snaps, saw the same amount of 3rd down snaps, and was the lear on 1st and 2nd down snaps, too. All this work spe not beg the fensive playller on the fense (that guy is g up later). He showed above-average tackle efficiency at 17.7% this last week. Deablo expects to be out a mimum of 4 weeks after beg placed on jured rerve, so let’s keep firg up Martez. The Ravens n the most plays per game the NFL at 69.7 and the teams that have found succs at slowg down the Ravens’ offense have been prsurg/blzg. Luvu has seen nsistent pass-sh snaps and has been succsful wh a 70.3 PFF pass-sh gra. I anticipate this is how the Panthers will try to slow him down and Luvu will be a part of this.</p><p>My biggt ncern is Luvu do have 16 missed tackl on the season, and gettg after Lamar Jackson—who is one of the most elive nners the NFL—might lead to some missed tackl. But I would fire up Luvu as a high-end LB2 this week.</p><p><strong>START: Jam Davis, </strong><em><strong>Washgton Commanrs</strong></em><strong>, LB32</strong></p><p>Pickg Jam Davis feels like the least “sexy” start I’ve ever remend. Davis was a first-round talent that hasn’t que livered or been able to climb past Cole Holb on the Commanrs’ pth chart. Wh Holb out, however, Davis fds himself wh a 100% snap share and another opportuny this weekend, as Holb looks unlikely to play (he was a DNP on Wednday).</p><p>His matchup agast Hoton this week offers a n-heavy suatn where Dameon Pierce has been seeg plenty of work. He’s had 15+ sh the last 5 weeks, wh 3 of those at 20+ shers… even though 4 of those were loss and negative game scripts. Davis isn’t a strong play rt of the season, but for this week, he is a solid LB2.</p><p><strong>SIT: Zaven Colls, </strong><em><strong>Arizona Cardals</strong></em><strong>, LB21</strong></p><p>I’m a huge Zaven Colls fan, but this week, I’m stgglg to see him as an LB2 even wh a 100% snap share. Colls is startg to get a small dose of the “Mih Parsons experience” and see more snaps om the DL posn. Last week, he saw 36% of his snaps at DL. In Week 8, was 31%. Durg those weeks, he saw his lowt tackle productn both weeks wh 4 bed tackl each of them.</p><p>If he’s lg up at DL and takg pass-sh snaps, don’t he have more big play upsi? Typilly y, but the matchup this week agast San Francis is ls than ial. They have the lowt prsure rate the NFL and 7th bt sack nversn rate allowed. I would steer away om Colls unls you really need him an LB3/4 spot due to his volume. If you n afford to bench him for a week, I’d do .</p><div><hr /></div><p><strong>START: Dane Belton, </strong><em><strong>New York Giants</strong></em><strong>, DB77</strong></p><p>Dane Belton me to his rookie season wh some real promise but then broke his llarbone. Meanwhile, Julian Love and Xavier McKney ran wh the startg safety jobs. In a strange turn of events, Xavier McKney broke his hand and end up on IR, givg Belton his chance. The real surprise was Belton takg over the bulk of the “sweet spot” snaps (box, DL, or slot). He had 67% of them last week, which led to 4 bed tackl. However, wh snap alignments like this, he uld be a late-season steal off your waiver wire. This may only be until McKney is back, but durg that time, Belton should be a high-end DB3, maybe even a low-end DB2.</p><p><strong>START: Tyrann Mathi, </strong><em><strong>New Orleans Sats</strong></em><strong>, DB26</strong></p><p>Tyrann Mathi has been one of the few IDPs to play every snap so far this season, which is imprsive given his age. In Week 10, we saw a heavy shift Mathi’s age. Wh Pete Werner out, Mathi saw 76% of his snaps the sweet spot, which is a high amount for any safety. As such, wh Werner likely out aga this week, we need to fire up Mathi agast the Rams. This age led to his hight tackle output of the season and playg the Rams will lend to some strong opportuni for big-play upsi as well. Tyrann is lookg like a DB1 this week and a smash start!</p><p><strong>SIT: Kyle Dugger, </strong><em><strong>New England Patrts</strong></em><strong>, DB27</strong></p><p>In terms of IDP productn, Kyle Dugger was amazg 2021. However, that productn me due to strong efficiency on a lower snap volume than the DBs who produced siar numbers as him. One of those metrics was his tackle efficiency of 11.9%, but this year, he’s seen a dip of over 2 pots down to 9.3%. The biggt ncern, though, is his limed snap unt and the fact he’s battled juri all year.
