The annual official gay easter para will take place on Easter Sunday at 4:30pm the French Quarter.

The 22nd Annual Official Gay Easter Para is schled to roll Easter Sunday, April 9th at 4:30pm. The Gay Easter Para started 2000 New Orleans as a fun way to showse the fashn and creativy of the entire LGBTQ+ muny wh ladi gowns or summer sus wh Easter Hats and gentlemen summer sus or tuxedos. To make a donatn, vis and signate your gift to Food for Friends and type “Gay Easter Para” the fal fundraiser of the Easter Season is Bunni the Big Easy and will be held on Good Friday, April 7th at 6:30 pm.

2023 Official Gay Easter Para RouteThis year’s Easter Grand Marshals are Lil Debbie Snatchke and Jim Grand Marshals XXII Lil Debbie Snatchke and Jim Meadows. Then, later the afternoon, is yet another para, the Gay Easter Para, put on by the cy’s LGBT muny.

Beg nowhere near as wild or extravagant as a Mardi Gras para, but rather fay-iendly, the Gay Easter Para tak a leisurely route through the French Quarter, passg every gay bar and many gay-owned rtrants and retail shops. The 21st Annual Official Gay Easter Para is schled to roll Easter Sunday, April 17th at 5:30pm.

To make a donatn, vis and signate your gift to Food for Friends and type “Gay Easter Para” the year’s para will roll through the French Quarter startg at the entrance to Armstrong Park at the rner of N. Good Friday – The ftivi kick off on Good Friday wh Bunni the Big Easy, a gay soiree featurg live entertament, an open bar, raffl, and of urse, plenty of bunny boys.

All the proceeds raised this eveng go towards The Official Gay Easter Para and Food for Friends, a divisn of CrcentCare. Stay close to all the gay bars and clubs the French Quarter. The 22nd annual Official Gay Easter Para is the third para that promenad through the French Quarter on Easter day, yet energi of both para-goers and participants grew rather than flagged, makg for an exuberant and lorful fale.

The Gay Easter Para has officially been ncelled for 2021 due to COVID-19 ncerns and the current rtrictns put place by State and Cy officials. The Gay Easter Para started 2000 New Orleans as a fun way to showse the fashn and creativy of the entire LGBT muny “wh ladi gowns or summer sus wh Easter Hats and gentlemen summer sus or tuxedos. The day starts wh the Historic French Quarter Easter Para, ntu wh the Chris Owens French Quarter Easter Para and nclus wh the Official Gay Easter year, the gay and lbian muny of New Orleans aniz several large events that attract LGBT revelers om across the Uned Stat and abroad to the French Quarter. They clu Southern Dence (a six-day event culmatg on the Sunday before Labor Day), Halloween New Orleans, the New Orleans Pri and the Gay Easter Para.

The Gay Easter Para is the fal para held French Quarter on Easter Sunday, startg at 4:30 p. Although a lot of people associate gay paras wh drag queens and half-naked men leather, the Gay Easter Para is actually a rather fay-iendly event, nowhere near was extravagant as, for example, a Mardi Gras para. The Gay Easter Para featur revelers drsed showy versns of their Easter Sunday ft (summers sus, tux and drs), throwg beads and other trkets to the crowd while ridg lavishly rated floats and horse-drawn rriag.
