THE RUN: GAY DOWNTOWN HISTORY WALKING TOUR

Jo Esotouric on a walkg tour of 20th century LGBTQ landmarks the heart of Downtown Los Angel, for a time travel trip along The Run, the circu of queer iendly spac that provid muny, culture and nnectn at a time when homosexualy was still crimalized, and the early years of gay liberatn. John Rechy, a noted chronicler of gay LA, wrote his book Cy of Night that this lotn of the Cooper doughnut cha on Ma Street was the se of a 1959 uprisg of transgenr women and street htlers.
