The levels of prsn, anxiety, and physil pa among gay or bisexual men who had experienced both tradnal and cyber homophobic bullyg (n=109), only tradnal or cyber bullyg (n=173), and neher tradnal nor cyber bullyg durg childhood (n=218) were pared. The moratg effects of fay and peer support on the effects of homophobic bullyg victimizatn on prsn, anxiety, and physil pa were also examed.Rults: Victims of any type of homophobic bullyg childhood had more severe prsn, anxiety, and physil pa emergg adulthood than nonvictims. Victims of both tradnal and cyber homophobic bullyg had more severe anxiety adulthood than victims of only tradnal or cyber homophobic bullyg. Fay but not peer support childhood morated the effects of homophobic bullyg victimizatn on current levels of anxiety and physil pa emergg adulthood among gay and bisexual men.Concln: The rults of the prent study support that early preventn and terventn for homophobic bullyg and enhancement of fay support are sential to rce mental health problems emergent adults among gay and bisexual men.
