Gaylon Lyle Davis, 79, Defiance, Oh, passed away on Saturday October 13, 2018 his home. Gaylon and Elae have 3 survivg dghters, Shawn (Mark) Faryniarz, Defiance, Moni (Garry) Carnahan, & Rebec (Brent) Bischoff, Napoleon. Gaylon was preced ath by his parents, tw dghters Gay & Gayle, a brother, Gaylord Davis, and niece Angela Davis.
Gaylon was the Defiance Cy Engeer om 1978-1988 when he rigned to n for the Defiance County Engeer’s posn.
Gaylon Davis served as Defiance County Engeer for 16 years, om January of 1989 to January 2005, the send longt tenure the history of the Defiance County Surveyor\Engeer Office. Gaylon was also active the Natnal Associatn of County Engeers and was regnized by that associatn as ral unty engeer of the year 2003. Gaylon received many awards and proclamatns over his 47 year reer.

Gaylon recently served as Chair-Elect of the Inpennt Insurance Agents of Texas. Gaylon has also sat on many advisory boards for surance pani we reprent.
