Wh over two s of higher tn IT experience, Gayleen has been an active lear Canada through her volvement CUCCIO (Canadian Universy Council of Chief Informatn Officers), cludg beg a founr and ongog lear for the anizatn’s Canadian Higher Ed IT Learship Profsnal Development program, s new Higher Ed IT Secury Learship Profsnal Development program, Chair of the CUCCIO Cybersecury Standg Commtee, and more recently a member of the CUCCIO Board.
Gayleen also serv on the CANARIE’s Cybersecury Advisory Commtee. Gayleen has been equally active her service to EDUCAUSE, where she is now a member of the EDUCAUSE Board, and past has been on the Faculty for the EDUCAUSE Senr Director Instute (2022), Management Instute (2020), and New IT Managers Instute (2018, 2019). Gayleen’s prev Board posns clu the CANARIE Board of Directors, the ORION (Ontar) Board, a foundg member of CanSSOC (now part of CANARIE) and a member of the CanSSOC Steerg Commtee and Sponsorship Commtee, the Hospice-Wellgton Board, a past elected member of the Universy of Guelph Board of Governors and the Universy of Guelph Senate.
