In a recently published study lookg at var health dispari of LGBTQ adults, the AARP found that gay men are the most likely of any sexual orientatn to be sgle over the age of AARP surveyed 1, 782 people across the Uned Stat.

The fdgs are based on data llected om October 27 to November 12, 2017 through an onle survey of 1, 762 lbian, gay, bisexual, and transgenr (LGBT) Amerins age 45 and olr. The natnal sample clus n=627 lbian or same genr lovg femal; n=680 gay or same genr lovg mal; n=162 bisexual or pansexual women and men; and n=264 rponnts who intified as one of the followg “genr expansive” tegori: transgenr, trans woman, trans man, genr non-bary, genrqueer, genr fluid or tersex. My stat the gay guy world had changed, and that was jt how was gog to be.
Where was the show that I uld intify wh, the one about gay men their 40s still tryg to figure out life and s twists and turns, ups and downs, surpris and disappotments? I uldn't fd anythg alg wh issu to which I uld then I thought about all of my 40-somethg gay iends and how they all led very different liv om me and each other's as well.

Inially, I was unnvced the relatnships were ser, but that was bee I held stereotypil views: an olr gay man who was lookg for a trophy-mate and has the money to take re of his boy toy and a younger man who was lookg for a sugar daddy.
