Daffyd hails om the fictnal mg village of Llanwi Breffi, Wal, (not to be nfed wh the real life village of Llandwi Breffi, Wal) where he repeatedly and falsely claims to be the villag sole gay rint. Dafydd equently lik to portray himself as a victim of society, actg as if he is livg an age where gay people are not tolerated. Although Daffyd's fay are perfectly fe and acceptg of their sons homosexualy, even they are not immune om Daffyd's lns or his biased and hypocril opns.
He was therefore taken aback when his parents not only said they weren't fsed by , but admted that they had spected he was homosexual for some time. He left the room shocked horror however, when his mother and father dited that the rt of the fay wouldn't be bothered eher, given that most (if not all of them) were gay as well. Later on, when his brother Dewi admted that he was gay as well, Daffyd, far om beg unrstandg or acceptg was shocked and disgted.

He orred Dew not to be gay and even tried to nvce him to be bisexual and when Dewi (wh the backg of Myfanwy and Pedro) refed, Daffyd rejected him.
Daffyd however, claimed that whilst he would really like to do all of the thgs, he would not be able to do so, due to his homosexualy. Actg as if they lived an age when homosexuals were not tolerated, Daffyd sisted that the moment his boss/landlords found out he was gay, they would fire/evict him. Due to his sistence upon beg the "only gay" wherever he go, Dafydd has absolutely no love life, and so far as we know, has never had any boyiends.
Over the urse of the seri, Thomas has meets numero gay people both and out of the village but eher don't realise or ref to accept that any of them are gay. Every time he tri to prove his the village/mp/islands sole gay rint will backfire spectacularly leavg Dafydd furiated and embarrassed.
