The Gay Neti Revue, a 1930s mil variety rad show, featured mic, edy, and sks typil of the 1890s. The rad show was so popular that spawned two spoffs, Gaslight Gayeti and The Beatrice Kay Show, both of which ran through the mid-1940s. A New York Cy speakeasy, Bill’s Gay Neti, opened the late 1920s and only recently closed this century.
