The 2020 Natnal Survey on Dg Use and Health found that about 22% of lbian, gay and bisexual adults had an alhol e disorr the past year, pared to 11% of heterosexual adults the overall populatn. In the same year, about 7% of lbian, gay and bisexual adults mised prcriptn opids or ed hero, pared to about 4% of heterosexual adults.
While bars and nightclubs have long been a foundatn of Seattle’s LGBTQ+ culture, there’s also a tradn of fdg muny spac ee of dgs and alhol, not Jg Jg Wang, youth advocy -manager at Seattle’s LGBTQ+ Center (formerly known as Gay Cy).
