Our goal as a league is to promote sportspersonship, tolerance and acceptance of gay and lbian men and women as well as those our muny who are iendly and supportive of our ials.

Gay softball started at the natnal level 1977 San Francis.

While there were multiple plac for athlet to play softball, gay softball was started as "our special place". In the fall of 1993, a group of men and women who participated dividually gay and lbian softball elsewhere cid was time to formally brg LGBT softball to the Tampa area. One of our founrs and Hall of Fame member, Rick Rt, was volved formg NAGAAA: the North Amerin Gay Amatr Athletic Alliance.
