In fact, they even got a few extra gigs bee of their name, seeg as they were booked to play at several "gay-themed events. The term has a bisexual nnotatn that they were supposedly unaware of at the time, and they often had to ny they were a gay band, a perceptn that was exacerbated by their 'glam rock' image at the time. Mallm even nsired changg the band’s name when the driver stated that he wanted to know why they chose AC/DC if they weren’t gay or bisexual.
You guys aren’t gay. In a classic se of mistaken inty, they’d driven all the way across the Nullarbor to Perth only to learn they’d been booked to play at a gay baret. GayC/DC is the world’s first and only all-gay tribute to the mic of AC/DC!

After the Gay Gay’s went on hiat, Freeman, along wh two other members of the Gay Gay’s, moved forward wh formg a band that uld put a gay sp on the ttosterone-fueled mic of AC/DC. As far as I rell AC meant heterosexual and DC meant homosexual (rived om Alternatg current and Direct current) and I spect that Hele is g this way as the book dat om that perd.
