Prague and the Czech Republic are relatively tolerant, and gay and lbian travelers are not likely to enunter any problems.

The Prague neighborhood of Vohrady is particularly gay-iendly, and several gay clubs and bars have opened up recent years. In addn, there are a uple of hotels and gutho around town that ter to a largely or exclively gay clientele. The legal suatn for gays and lbians is relatively good.

The Czech GayGui () and GayGui Prague () are both excellent rourc for happengs, bars, rtrants, and clubs.

I don't thk there are any actual Gay districts, have you had a look at this lk? Also put Gay to the searchbox above and will brg up some prev posts that maybe of e to you.

I am assumg that you probably have a py of Spartac Internatnal Gay Gui.

THE GAY SI OF PRAGUE

My py is a few years out of date now, but nfirms what TORII says, that there is no "gay district" such as you would fd , say, London or San Francis. Some of the ads mentn a "gay district", but my gus is that this is jt for advertisg purpos.

The map seems to show gay venu distributed wily throughout the cy.

IS THERE A GAY DISTRICT PRAGUE?

"Prague has not one certa gay area, but there are a lot of them Prague 1 (Old & New Town), 2/10 (Vohrady) and 3 (Zizkov).

Several gay iendly clubs/ rtuarants here but is not labeled a gay district... Vohrady is not "gay iendly". They do have a uple of gay-iendly pubs, that's all.

Funny you should say that Karel, whenever anyone asks where is the "gay" neighborhood Prague Vohrady always pops to my head for some reason.
