I would like my uncle to be my baby's Godfather, he's gay. He's jt an all around solid person, but he's gay and my DH said that the church may not allow or agree wh a gay Godparent.
I thought of our very good iend who happens to be gay, and now im worried that the vir may ment on this. I hear lots of stori about the church and homophobia.
GAY GODPARENT?
Obvly, the Christian fah disagre wh homosexualy (and disagreeg wh someone's choice to be gay isn't 'homophobic'); but, s up to you who you chose to be a godparent regardls. Another way of lookg at on the other si of the spectm is the gay lobby havg a dislike of Christiany. Some homosexuals are not agast Christiany at all, even though the church do'nt agree wh thier life directn.
Not sure about people beg born gay though. I have found that My dghters god father who is gay is great as the want to spend time wh her and tak alot of tert her well beg at school etc, which straight god parents my not be able to do so much.
