At least, not until I hear om you.”</p><p>At this pot the episo, I began to wonr if this show uld actually go there — if a kid’s show was really able to name queerns and queer love this plaly and clearly. Then we see Ruby get down on one knee, holdg Sapphire’s hand hers, and say, “Sapphire, will you marry me?”</p><p>My whole world shook.</p><p>“This way we n be together even when we’re apart,” Ruby ntu. “This way beg Gar will be our cisn. That’s why this is so groundbreakg: kids across the untry (and, eventually, globally) are about to see one woman propose to another. It’s possible those kids had no ia people of the same genr uld even fall love, much ls marry, and they’ll walk away om <em>Steven Universe</em> knowg that they should have the right to marry whoever they fall love wh, regardls of their genr.
