Over the years, there have been a uple people that have been part of the League that lost their jobs through 'intifitn' as a gay person. The League sent our first two teams to the Gay Softball World Seri held Nashville, TN, where we won enough gam to attract natnal attentn.
While some of the women players participated on -rec teams to help rec, our 'secretly gay' teams entered Cy Leagu as well. Each year, wh our sprg and fall leagu and our annual Saguaro Cup Sports Ftival, we provi a healthy team sports outlet for several hundred lbians and gay men, which is somethg we all should be very proud of. THEN: In a Pierce Park -rec League, someone figured out our team was gay.
